Sensitive Restoration
Already a charming property, it was essential to do justice to the quirkiness of the existing building. The project balanced real-world living with expert craftmanship.
The floor plate was lowered to increase ceiling heights in the kitchen and entertaining space. The layout was remodelled ensuring the high-quality joinery sat centre stage.
The Garden Room
The true spectacle was a stunningly beautiful, hand crafted birch ply roof in the newly created Garden Room adjoining the main house. Internally, the bespoke crafted vaulted roof is illuminated by the sunlight streaming in through the glass.
Externally, the zinc vaulted roof beams as an outstanding piece of architectural design.
