Blurring lines

The clients aspired to retain their family period cottage whilst modernising the interior space to reflect twenty-first century living. 

Removing all but one existing load bearing wall created a sociable indoor space that could be blended with outdoor entertaining.

The existing period radiators were linked to a state-of-the-art biomass boiler permitting digital access and control from any smart device, from any location in the world.

Creating Space

For most of us, it’s easy to look at a floor plan and enthusiastically scribble out walls inspired by the dream of ‘open plan living’!  In reality, its collaboration with both the Architect and the Structural Engineer that makes it all possible.
