Make were appointed to design and build the conversion of a Grade II listed building near Frome, to provide further hotel accommodation and ancillary buildings.
The Farmhouse Hotel comprises the conversion and refurbishment of the existing building which dates from the 17th century. The farmhouse and its associated grounds are Grade II listed and the project seeks to enhance the setting of the heritage asset.
The design creates a scheme which maximises the number of hotel suites whilst reposting the constraints of the historic fabric. The change of use to a hotel will provide the necessary investment and continuity to ensure that the building is maintained and conserved for future generations.
